FALL RIVER – Fernando Sineiro, age 73, a longtime resident of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 in the comforts of his home with his loving family by his side. Born on July 2, 1949 in Furnas, Sao Miguel, Azores to the late Antonio Sineiro and the late Gilda (Achadinha) Sineiro. Fernando was the husband of Maria (Cabral) Sineiro.

Prior to retiring, Fernando worked as a machine operator in the local mills for several years. He was a communicant of St. Michael's church. Fernando loved to go fishing, he enjoyed trying his luck at the casino, and most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife Maria, survivors include his beloved children: Nellie Sineiro, Paula Medeiros (Jillian) and Diane Salvo (Zack) all of Fall River; siblings: the late Jose Sineiro, Maria Moniz, Constance Sineiro, the late Maria Andrade, and Antonio Sineiro; grandchildren: Kelly & Nathan Cabral, Alec De Oliveira, Issac & Evan Froment, and Aydan De Oliveira; great grandchildren: Juliana Galuski, Kinsley Froment, Addison De Oliveira, and Kaisley Froment; many nieces & nephews.

Fernando's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Thursday, June 15th here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Michael's Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
