FALL RIVER – Francine A. Russell, age 72, a lifelong resident of Fall River, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmund J. Russell Jr. Born in Fall River; Francine was the daughter of the late Frank P. Miranda and the late Beatrice (Carvalho) Miranda.

Prior to retiring, Francine was an L.P.N., working as Surgical Tech Nurse at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. Francine was a member of the Amvets, Post 60 Ladies Auxiliary of Fall River, she enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and cake decorating for any occasion. Francine loved spending time with her family and hosting events for family & friends, especially during the Christmas season.

Francine is survived by her 2 daughters: Kelly B. Benham & her husband Anthony of Lynn and Kimberly A. Luz & her husband Cory of Fall River; 2 sisters: Julie Platt of Fall River, and Joyce Berube of Rumford, Maine; several nieces & nephews. Francine was the mother of the late Joselyn A. Russell.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Monday, June 27 ^th at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
