FALL RIVER - George Anthony Rocha, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024 at St. Anne's Hospital. Born and raised in Fall River, he was the son of Maria (Viveiros) Silveira (step-father Amandio Silveira) and the late Augustine G. Rocha. George was the beloved companion of Kristin Lapointe for 23 years.

George worked for Prysmian Group General Cable Co. of N. Dighton, MA as a machine operator, manufacturing communication cable. He was an avid NE sports fan and loved his feline fur babies. Most of all, George loved spending time with his friends and family.

In addition to Maria and Kristin, George was the beloved brother of Jennifer Lynn Cabral (husband Ozzie) of Swansea; cherished uncle of Mason and Madison Cabral, and Josiah Avila. He also leaves behind aunts and cousins.
