George M. Abdow Jr., age 77, of Westport, passed away after a long illness on June 11 ^th .  Born in Fall River he was the son of the late George and Gloria (Morris) Abdow.

Prior to his retirement George was a Director of Production Control at Quaker Fabric for many years.  He loved watching old westerns and going for coffee with the gang at McDonald's. He liked riding motorcycles and was a member of the Blue Knights. He had a great sense of humor, and he will be missed.

George is survived by sisters Paula Rego of Fall River and Virginia Morin of Westport; his granddaughter Kylie Abdow of Swansea; his niece Kerri Pessoa and nephew Jason D'Arrigo.  Besides his parents George was predeceased by his son; Marc Abdow and his two uncles; Thomas Abdow and Edward Abdow.
