Fall River – George W. Patton, age 78, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 19 ^th .  Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late George W. and Kathleen (Perry) Patton.  He was the loving husband of Shirley (Silva) Patton.

Prior to his retirement George worked at Swan Finishing for twenty-seven years.  George enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.  He was a wonderful husband, father, step-father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather and he will be deeply missed.  Besides his wife, he is survived by his son Kirk Patton; his daughter Kimberly Patton; his step son Michael Correia and his wife Renee; his sister Colleen Patton; his grandchildren; Destiny Arruda, Alexus Correia, Dakota Correia, Aliviyah Correia, his great grandson Maverick Fraizer, and many nieces and nephews.   George was predeceased by his son Keith Correia, his brother William Theis and his granddaughter Tori Correia.
