FALL RIVER – Georgina Moreira, age 99, passed away on October 25, 2021 at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Marianno M. Moreira. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Maria (Cordeiro) Mello.

Georgina is survived by her son Ronald J Moreira (wife Sandra ) of Estero, FL and daughter Sandra Nastari (husband Steven) of Bonita Springs, FL; 5 grandchildren, Corey Rekas, Kyle Rekas, Jodie Coughlin, Jessica Thompson and Matthew Moreira; 4 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Mary Freitas, Carolyn Mello, Captolina Barbosa and brother Frank Mello.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Tuesday, Nov 2 ^nd with extended calling hours from 9-10 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael's Church at 10:30 A.M.
