Gerald J. "Jerry" Shorrock, age 76 of Berkley, peacefully passed away on June 25, 2025 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Fall River, he was the beloved husband of Pauline (Cabeceiras) Shorrock and the son of the late Mark N. Shorrock and the late Hannah M. (Wrigley) Shorrock.

Jerry proudly served in the US Navy during the Viet Nam Conflict, and prior to retiring, he worked as a machinist and was also a carpenter by trade. He was very artistic and loved to draw. As a teenager, he would sell portraits that he drew to make some money on the side. Being a carpenter by trade, he designed and built his family home without the use of any blueprints. Most of all, Jerry loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Pauline, he is survived by his children Jeremy S. Shorrock of Berkley, Alyssa Rainford (husband William) of Groton, MA, Gillian Shorrock, and Ethan Shorrock both of Berkley; siblings Mark Shorrock Jr. (wife Nancy) of Attleboro, and Eve Leach (late husband George Jr.) of Swansea, MA; grandchildren Bradley and Henry; nieces & nephews.

Visitation for Jerry will take place on Monday, June 30, 2025 from 8:30-10:15 A.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA. His funeral mass will immediately follow at St. Bernard's Church, Main St., Assonet at 11:00 A.M. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Hortonville Rd., Swansea.
