Geraldine L. Cabral, age 77, beloved wife of Roderick Cabral, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2022 at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Lena (Cabral) Bird. Geraldine worked as a nurse's aide most of her life and retired from Highland Manor, where she worked for over 30 years. She loved to listen to country music and loved to crochet and knit, most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Geraldine was a loving mother to her children Lorna Cabral of Fall River, Ronald Cabral (wife Rhonda) of Fall River, Geraldine DeMelo (husband Daniel) of Altoona, FL and Robert Cabral of New Smyrna Beach, FL; sister of Linda Wahl (husband Joseph) and the late Edward and Lawrence Bird; grandmother of Justin Cabral, Daniel DeMelo Jr., Jessica Packard DeMelo, Paige Mercer, Robert Cabral Jr., Clarissa Cabral and Ronnie Cabral Jr.; great-grandmother of Peyton Packard, Carter Packard, Leon Luis and Everett Packard. She will also be missed by her friends, Pat Cabral and Marie Kaughman, as well as several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Her funeral service will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday, March 22 ^nd at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery.
