Geraldine (Mendes) Ramos, age 90 of Fall River & Swansea, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, with her loving family by her side. Born in Fall River, Geraldine was the beloved wife of John M. Ramos and the daughter of the late Manuel & Frances (Bernardo) Mendes.

Geraldine and her husband John, were entrepreneurs for all of their lives. From their dress shop in Swansea in the 1970's to their restaurant in the 1980's and 1990's, they were always focused on how to create businesses out of passion. Once retired, she spent her time tending to her home and reading any book that she could get her hands on. Most of all, Geraldine cherished spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband John, to whom she was married to for 61 years, Geraldine is survived by her two daughters: Karen Riendeau of Barrington, and Debra Llorens of Valencia, Spain; her sister: Lorraine Azevedo of Austin, TX; three grandchildren: Montserrat Urnek, Nicole Mastan, & Morgan Llorens Menna; five great grandchildren: Gavin, Connor, & Cullen Urnek, and Patrick & Niamh Mastan.

Geraldine's visitation will take place on Monday, Oct. 16th from 10 AM – 12 PM, with a service to follow in Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow in Vinnicum Woods Cemetery, Swansea, MA.
