Fall River -      Germaine R. Medeiros, age 79, a lifelong resident of Fall River, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022. Born in Capelas, Sao Miguel, Azores, Germaine was the daughter of the late Jose Pacheco Medeiros & Maria Roque and she was the loving wife of the late David C. Medeiros.

Prior to retiring, Germaine had worked as a clothing inspector at Quaker Fabrics for over 25 years.  Some of her interests were dancing, traveling and visiting her home in Florida. She was a caring & loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother. Germaine was steadfast in her Catholic faith and she loved cooking Sunday breakfast and having her children and grandchildren together.

Survivors, include her children: Mark Medeiros, his wife Theresa, Melissa Lavoie, her husband David, and Kimberly Medeiros; her grandchildren, who were truly the center of her world: Nichole Bradham, Kaelyn Lavoie, Samantha Moraes, Nolan Ferreira, Alexander Medeiros, Travis Medeiros and Lainie Medeiros; her great grandchildren: Lilly, Harper, Violet, Harlow, River, Emilia, Ivy, and David IV; her siblings: Joseph Medeiros, Antone Pacheco and Manuel Medeiros.  She also leaves a step-son David McElroy and his family, a s well as many nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings William Medeiros, Maria Jose Barbosa and Isabel Medeiros.

Her funeral will be held from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N Main St. on Wednesday February 23 at 9AM, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michaels Church at 10AM.  Burial to follow at St. Patricks Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held at the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home on Tuesday February 22, from 5-7PM.
