MIDDLEBORO - We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2025, at the age of 99, Gertrude M. "Trudy" Murphy passed away at Oak Hill Healthcare in Middleboro.

Not much is known about the life she led before she came into the care of Family Services, but one thing was certain, she loved to dance. Even as memory faded and words became few, the rhythm of music still lit up something inside her. A simple melody could bring a smile to her face. She is remembered not for the things she lost, but for the light she carried. May she rest now in peace, forever dancing among the stars.
