With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Glenna Michael, age 93, of Westport, who passed away on December 5, 2023.

She was the wife of the late Edward Michael Sr. and born in Fall River, daughter of the late Joseph and Celina (McGuire) Furtado. Glenna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, playing bingo, and going to the casino. She was a 1947 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy.

Glenna was loved and cherished by many people including her sons, Edward Michael Jr. of Fall River, Thomas Michael (wife Cheryl) of Assonet, Paul Michael (wife Sherry) of Dartmouth, Gary Michael (wife Jeanne) of Westport; grandchildren Edward III, Erin, Nathan, Tyler, Owen, Lauren, and Ben; great grandchildren Hailey, Evan, Olivia, Tyler Jr., Hadyn, Thomas and Henry, as well as many other family and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters Shirley Furtado and Dolores Jean Silva.

Following cremation, her funeral will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday, December 15 th, starting at 9:00 A.M. followed by a service at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours on Thursday, December 14th from 4-7 PM.
