We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2023, at the age of 102, Guilhermina Anselmo of Fall River passed away at Catholic Memorial Home. She was wife of the late Antone V. Anselmo, and born in Fall River. She was daughter of the late Manuel and Rose (Morris) Arruda. Prior to retirement Gilly worked as a presser at Tick Tock Frocks. She loved playing cards with her grandchildren and going to bingo. She also enjoyed baking and going for daily walks.  She was a communicant at Saint Michael's Church.

She was loved and cherished by many people including her children Rose Marie Walde of Berkley, Anthony Anselmo and his wife Claire of Fall River, Theresa Jennings and her husband Richard of Fall River, as well as her late son Albert Anselmo. She will also be missed by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of  Alfred, Manuel and Joseph Arruda and Angelina Margarida and Deolinda Correia.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday, January 10th here at 9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael's Church at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours are on Monday, January 9th from 4-7 P.M.
