With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Costa of Swansea, who passed away on June 30, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends.  Wife of Richard M. Costa, and born in Fall River, daughter of the late John and Marie (Williams) Rapoza. Helen was raised by her godmother Constance Williams, along with her sisters. Helen loved to cook and crochet. She was also a very talented seamstress.

She was loved and cherished by many people including her daughters Diane Albernaz and her husband Paul of Plymouth and Donna Costa of East Providence; sisters Marion Roy and the late Constance Melanson; grandchild Marisa Hanson and great-grandson Luke Furtado, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Following cremation a visitation will take place at Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday, July 14 ^th from 9-10 A.M. with a memorial Mass that will take place at St. Louis de France in Swansea at 10:30 A.M.  Internment in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
