Hermano Correia, age 77 of Fall River passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at St. Anne's Hospital. Born on Aug. 1, 1946 in Capelas, São Miguel, Azores, Hermano  was the beloved husband of 52 years to Martha (Cabral) Correia. He was the son of the late Manuel Correia and the late Maria Isabel (Inacio) Correia.

Prior to retiring, Hermano worked as a maintenance man/mechanic for Priority Finishing. He was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church and an avid SPORTING Portugal soccer fan. Hermano enjoyed fishing with his friends, and hanging out with them. He was also a Mr. Fix-It of anything, nothing went to waste.

Hermano was a giving person. He loved sharing his homemade wine, and more recently his homemade cow cheese with his family and friends. Mostly, Hermano loved spending quality time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Martha, Hermano is survived by his children Paul Correia (wife Susan) of Westport, Richard Correia of Fall River, and Suzanne Costa of Fall River; siblings Maria dos Anjos Botelho of Canada, the late Juliana Revoredo, Graciana Correia of Fall River, and Fatima Camara of Fall River; grandchildren Daniel Costa III, Jade Correia, Tyler Correia, Zachary Costa, and Cameron Costa; many nieces & nephews.

Hermano's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Monday, April 29th here at 9:00 A.M. followed by a funeral mass in Santo Christo Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
