DARTMOUTH – Howard F. Herring, age 92 of Dartmouth and previously of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital. Born in Guilford Missouri to the late Leeman Dwight Herring and the late Oral (Schweikhardt) Herring, Howard was the beloved husband of 61 yrs. to Caroline (Nardelli) Herring.

Howard was a US Navy Veteran, and had worked as a Machinist at Brown & Sharpe Mfg. Co. for 31 yrs. He also worked in maintenance for Meller Optics in Providence, RI. In his free time, Howard loved spending time with his family, especially with his granddaughter and great granddaughters.

He is survived by his son: Howard F. Herring II (wife Donna) of Swansea; his granddaughter: Nicole M. (Herring) Rodrigues (husband Shane) of Swansea ; 2 great granddaughters: Caroline & Emily Rodrigues of Swansea; many siblings, nieces & nephews.

Howard's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA. on Friday, Dec. 3 ^rd with a visitation here from  8:30-9:30 A.M. followed by a funeral mass  in St. Michael's Church at 10:00 A.M.
