We are deeply saddened to share that Humberto A. Conceição, of Westport, passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 74, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Agripina "Aggie" (Ponte) Conceição and the son of the late Armindo da Conceição Rodas and Flavia Perreira, born and raised in Canas da Santa Maria, Tondela, Viseu, Portugal.

Before retiring, Humberto dedicated over 20 years to Ryan Iron Works as an industrial worker. A passionate sports fan, he especially loved Benfica. He enjoyed playing dominoes, dining at Portuguese restaurants, fishing, visiting his homeland, and spending time with friends. Above all, he cherished moments with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Along with his wife, he was loved and cherished by many people including his children Tania Novo (husband Joao) of Westport, Raquel Conceição (partner Stevie Carvalho) of Fall River, Jonathan Conceição (wife Justine) of Fall River and Joshua Conceição (fiancé Alexie Jeronimo) of Swansea; grandchildren Leah Sylvain, Benjamin Novo, Landen Novo, Cohen Novo, Hayden Novo, Stephen Almeida, Sophia Almeida and Audrey Arruda-Soares; siblings Maria dos Anjos Pereira da Conceição Simões, Adelaide Pereira da Conceição Pinela and José Pereira da Conceição, all of Portugal; as well as several nieces, nephews and other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

A visitation for Humberto will be held on Monday, February 10th from 8-10 A.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. A funeral mass will follow at Our Lady of Grace in Westport at 11:00 A.M. Cremation to follow with a private burial.
