Humberto da Silva, age 89 of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024. Born in São Roque, São Miguel, Açores, Humberto was the beloved husband to Conceicão "Connie" (Pacheco) da Silva and the son of the late Manuel Almeida da Silva and the late Rosa (de Jesus) da Silva.

Prior to retiring, Humberto worked as a commercial painter and in his leisure time, he loved to go fishing. Humberto was also an avid fan of  the "PORT" soccer team, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his beloved wife Connie, Humberto is survived by his children: Nelson da Silva of Fall River, Louisa Santos (husband Antonio) of Acushnet, Humberto da Silva of New Bedford, Doreen Novo (husband Antonio) of New Bedford, and Sara Medeiros (husband Peter) of Fall River; grandchildren: Sara Wilde, Brenna Duarte, Ryan Novo, Jaydyn da Silva, Tevin Novo, Monique da Silva, Brielle Medeiros; 3 great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews. Humberto was predeceased by all of his siblings.

Humberto's visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 9:30-11:30 A.M. with a service to follow at 11:30 in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
