FALL RIVER – Ida E. Baptista-Santos, age 78, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2021 at her residence. Born in Fall River, she was the beloved daughter of the late Henry and Michelina (Ferreira) Baptista. She was the former wife of  Edward Santos. Ida loved Elvis Presley and country music. She especially loved to dance.

Ida was a loving mother to Donna Santos-Hubert (husband William) of Fall River, Edward Junior Santos of Tiverton (wife Kelly), Kevin Santos (wife Elizabeth) of Fall River, Laurie Santos-Warner (husband John) of Fall River and Chad Santos (wife Melissa) of Fall River. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Patricia, Janice and Cheryl; 23 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Ida was predeceased by one brother, Hank.

Her calling hours will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Tuesday, Dec. 21 ^st from 5-7 P.M. with a service at 6:30 P.M.
