Ilda dePaiva, age 94, beloved wife of the late Jose dePaiva, passed away peacefully at home on March 19, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Fenais da Luz, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of the late Joao Ventura de Cambra and Maria Gonsalves de Estrella. Ilda was a parishioner of St. Michael's Church. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Ilda was the loving mother of Edward (wife Delzira), Jose Carlos (wife Maria), Manuel (wife Lurdes) and Alfred Paiva, all of Fall River and Maria Jose Pavao (husband Luis) of Somerset; sister of Maria do Carmo, Alda Cabral, and the late Arthur de Cambra, Maria Angelina Cabral, Rosalina Baldain, Eduarda Silva, Maria de Cambra, Maria Jose Mauricio and Gilda de Cambra. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Friday, March 25 ^th here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Michael's Church at 10:30 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
