FALL RIVER – Ines (Galante) Terceira, age 97 of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022 at St. Anne's Hospital. Born in Fall River, Ines was the beloved wife of the late Manuel E. "Pete" Terceira Jr., and the daughter of the late Augusto A. & Maria (Ferreira) Galante.

Prior to retiring in 1987, Ines worked for Kim & Jim Mfg. for over 20 years. She was a former member of the Portuguese Ladies Auxiliary. Ines also sang with the Cliftonaires, a local group of friends who entertained and sang at the Clifton Nursing Home. Most of all, Ines loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

Ines is survived by her daughter, Elaine Terceira Wiggins (Ronald); her sister, Linda Ramos of Tiverton; 3 grandchildren, Ronnie Wiggins Jr., Andrew Wiggins, and Kimberly Terceira; 6 great grandchildren, Lizette, Alex, Natalyn, Jacob, Noah, and Eliana; nieces & nephews. Ines was predeceased by her son, David Terceira and her brother Auguste Galante.

A Funeral Service for Ines will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Tuesday, Nov. 22 ^nd at 10:00 A.M. followed by Commital Prayers in Notre Dame Cemetery.
