FALL RIVER - Irene Costa, age 80, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on September 17, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Paul Costa and was predeceased by her son Bruce F. Lopes. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Isabel (Braga) Costa.

Along with her husband she is survived by her siblings: Dennis Costa Jr., Carol Couturier, Gale Parola, Richard Costa, Deborah Lage, Kathleen Santos and Paula Costa. As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings: Barbara Couto, John Costa, Jesse Costa and Linda Raposa.
