We are sad to announce that on June 1, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Jacqueline R. Doehler of Fall River, at the age of 87. She was the beloved wife of the late Kenneth Doehler. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Jeanne (Methot) Boutin. Jackie was predeceased by her 3 children Kenneth Jr., Donna Surprenant and Richard Doehler.

Prior to retirement she worked as a bus monitor for many years for the Fall River School Department. Jackie will always be remembered for going out of her way to help family and friends.  She enjoyed playing cards, listening to music and doing word search puzzles. She also loved coloring on her tablet, especially cars because it reminded her of all the cars that Kenny brought home, but she had to go to the registry.

She is survived by her brother Leo Boutin; 2 grandsons Ricky Doehler and Ryan Surprenant; 4 great-grandchildren; niece Nancy Pommenville and her husband Ernest; son-in-law Ronald Surprenant; and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday, June 8th here at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. Joseph's Church, Fall River at 10 A.M. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Taunton. Calling hours on Wednesday, June 7th from 4-7 P.M.

Please leave a sympathy message to the family below on our guestbook to show them support. You may also light a candle in honor of Jacqueline or send a beautiful flower arrangement to the funeral service.
