FALL RIVER – Jaime Sebastiao, age 76 of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023 with his beloved family by his side. Born in Feteiras, do Sul, Sao Miguel, Azores, Jaime was the loving husband of Maria Aldina (Cordeiro) Sebastiao, with whom he celebrated their 56th Wedding Anniversary on Sat., Sep. 30th. He was also the son of the late Jose Junior Sebastiao and the late Florinda Sousa (Adriano) Sebastiao.

Prior to retiring, Jaime worked as a machine operator for Belcher Division of Advanced Cast Products. He was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church, loved cooking, gardening, and watching sports. He was also an avid Sporting fan. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially with his beloved granddaughter Jennifer.

In addition to his loving wife, Maria Aldina, he is survived by his daughter, Zelia Gonsalves (husband William) of Fall River; a brother, Gilbert Sebastiao of Tiverton; his granddaughter: Jennifer Gonsalves of Fall River; several nieces & nephews. Jaime was predeceased by his brothers: Joao, Manuel, & Jose Sebastiao.

Jaime's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023 with a visitation from 8:00-9:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in Santo Christo Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
