James John Maucione Sr., age 62 of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026 in the comfort of his home, with his loving family by his side. James was the son of the late John Robert Maucione and the late Geraldine (Paiva) Maucione.

Prior to his illness, James worked as a union carpenter. In his free time, James enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, and being a gym rat at Crunch gym. Most of all, James loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.

James is survived by his five children: Nicole Maucione, Ashley Maucione, Jay Maucione, Mercedes Maucione, and Marissa Tetrault; his two sisters: Lisa Reis, and Linda Correia; four grandchildren: Chace, Levi, Elise, and Mila; and a few nieces & nephews.

Following cremation, Calling hours for James will be held in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 12-2:30 PM with a service to follow at 2:30. To send the family Expressions of Sympathy, please click the Guest Book below.
