James Voltas, age 79, a lifelong resident of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at St. Anne's Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Monteiro) Voltas for 39 years, and the son of the late Antone & Elvira (Pereira) Voltas.

Prior to retiring, James was a truck driver and worked for American Flat Glass and later also did some over the road trucking for different merchants. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, loved being outdoors where he enjoyed going fishing and hunting. Most of all, James loved spending time with his family, especially with his granddaughters, great granddaughter, and new great grandson.

In addition to his wife Ann, he is survived by his daughter Cherie Ann Voltas of Fall River; 2 granddaughters Taylor Ann Voltas, and Jenna Nicole Voltas; 2 great grandchildren Jayleana, and Jiyel.

Visitation for James will take place on Tuesday, June 24th from 9:30-11:00 A.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, with a service to follow in the funeral home at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
