James F. Williamson, age 96 of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 after a lengthy illness. Born in Long Island, Ny, James was the beloved husband of Margaret E. (McCann) Williamson, and the son of the late John and Sarah (Mullins) Williamson. In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his son Jason F. Williamson, his sister Margaret Hamilton, and his grandson Jason Dyer.

Prior to retiring, James worked for Borden-Remington Chemical Co. as a chemical operator. In his youth, James was a very good athlete. In his spare time, James thoroughly enjoyed watching horse racing and dog racing. He would occasionally try his luck on a promising horse or dog. Most of all , he loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Margaret, James is survived by his daughter Jamie Elizabeth Dyer, and his grandchildren Wesley, Clayton, and Preston.

Following cremation, calling hours for James will take place on Tuesday, July 15th from 5-7 P.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River.
