Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must remember the memories of the beloved Jared Michael Ingargiola, who passed away at the age of 27, on November 7, 2023. Born in Fall River, son of Donald and Myra (Buss) Ingargiola. He suffered from a disability that most of us would not consider to be a major medical condition. Since our bodies and brains are one, it should come as no surprise that mental illness has an impact on those around it. He had a kind soul but occasionally he was unable to connect with it, which caused him to do things that were really not in line with who he was. Despite the amount of support he had, it led to a tragic ending of a beautiful young life.

In 2014, Jared graduated from Taunton High School in Taunton, MA. He was a member of both the Taunton Junior and High School Band as well as the Junior and High School Jazz Band, playing the Alto Saxophone. He had a passion for basketball and spent many years playing in both the Attleboro and Springfield YMCA Men's Basketball Leagues and the CYO Basketball Leagues. Basketball allowed him to find calmness in the chaos. The best memories of his childhood were accompanying his dad to many Celtics games. He could not contain his excitement when he saw the players emerge from the tunnel onto the floor giving them high fives. He also played in the Taunton Babe Ruth Baseball League, Taunton East Little League and Taunton Pop Warner Football League. As well as being an athlete, he was a talented artist with stunning drawings that had a deep insight into his beautiful mind. Jared also worked as a landscaper, who loved yellow daffodils and worked for the restaurant industry.

Jared's life had a profound, long-lasting effect on a great number of people. He was a young man of kindness, humor, and wit. Along with his parents, he was deeply loved by so many people including his sister Deanne (Rose) Case; two nieces Justine Eldridge and Braelyn Case; a nephew Nathaniel Case; two great-nephews Benjamin and Ryland Pierce; as well as several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends who will sadly miss him.

Following cremation, his calling hours will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Saturday, November 18th from 10 A.M - 12 P.M. with a service to immediately follow. Please join the family for lunch at Cornerstone Community Church on 111 Highland Road in Lakeville MA following the service.
