FALL RIVER – John Joseph O'Connor Jr., age 50, passed away on August 19, 2024. Born in Fall River, he was the son of John and Helene (Levesque) O'Connor and grandson of the late Thomas and Mary (May) O'Connor and Armand and Alice (Belanger) Levesque.

John had a deep passion for cars, which fueled his love for NASCAR and inspired him to spend countless hours building and working on vehicles. He also enjoyed attending antique car shows. A devoted Patriots fan, John loved watching TV and sharing good times over a beer with friends. His commitment to his community was evident in his many years of service as a volunteer firefighter with the Swansea Fire Department.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his brother Sean P. O'Connor of Lincoln, RI; aunt Judy Roncka; niece Ryleigh; cousins Kim Gosselin, Tammy Gardullo-Kreiner and Russell Gosselin Jr.; friends George King, Derek Nowicki and Paul Mayette; as well as many other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
