SWANSEA – John A. Sigman, age 78 of Swansea, passed away on Friday, Oct. 22, 2021 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. Born in Weymouth, England, John was the beloved husband of 55 yrs. to Doreen (Perry) Sigman, and the son of the late Joseph Albert Sigman and the late Edna (Stevens) Sigman.

John earned his Bachelors degree in Engineering, and prior to retiring, he was the owner of Sigmil Limited of Swansea, a Filtration Engineering Sale Co. He was a Communicant of St. John of God Church, the past president of a local Bristol County Corvette Club, and a member of professional mechanical engineering societies. John also achieved his Small Airplane Pilots License, and after retiring, John worked for St. Anne's Hudner Oncology as a Patient Transport Driver.

In addition to his wife, John  is survived by his 2 sons: Christopher John Sigman (wife Karen) of Fall River and Sean Louis Sigman (wife Cheri) of Somerset; 3 grandchildren: Ali, Ian, and Benjamin Sigman.

John's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA. on Wednesday, Oct. 27 ^th with Visitation from 8:30-10:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John of God Church at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be private.
