It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jose T. Diogo of Fall River, who passed away on November 5, 2022, at the age of 68, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Beloved husband of Mary Joe (Serodio) Diogo and born in Bretanha, São Miguel, Açores, son of the late Manuel and Maria (Tavares) Diogo. Jose was employed for C&D Auto Body for over 43 years as an auto painter before his last 7 years at Carl's Collision. Everyone knew him as the life of the party and loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was loved and cherished by many people including his children Shawn Diogo, (wife Doris) of Charlestown, RI and Natasha Martins (husband Jose) of Fall River; grandchildren Brayden and Meela Martins and Jared and Julia Diogo; siblings Maria dos Santos Borges (husband Jorge), Teresa Tavares, Goretti Camara (husband John), Tonie Beck (husband Wade), Lee Garret (husband Pat), Tony Diogo (late wife Peachy), Lenny Diogo, John Diogo (wife Esmeralda), Carlos Diogo (wife Margaret) and the late Adelino Diogo; in-laws Ines Brum (late husband Adelino), Carma DeMelo (husband Carlos) and Frank Serodio (wife Deborah). As well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends, who will sadly miss him.

A visitation for Jose will be held on Wednesday, November 9 ^th from 8-10:30 A.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. A funeral mass will follow in Holy Name Church at 11 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
