SOMERSET – Lance M. Trottier, age 59, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 18, 2025. He was the husband of the late Julanne (Fortes) Trottier and former husband of Lisa (Lehane) Workman. Born in Fall River, He was the son of the late Rhea (Belanger) Fernandez and her husband, David Fernandez, whom he also considered to be his father; as well as his father Leo H. Trottier Jr.

Lance was a straightforward man who often lived life on his own terms. Though he faced his share of challenges, those who knew him best understood that beneath it all, he had a good heart. He was a proud member of the Carpenters Union for many years, where he dedicated much of his career to installing stadium seating. He was also a lifelong member of the East End Sportsmen's Club, where he found camaraderie, laughter, and a sense of community. Lance will be remembered for his strong presence, sense of humor, and the stories he leaves behind.

Lance was survived by his daughter Meagan Trottier (husband Josh Faria) of Somerset; siblings Rhea J. Trottier (partner Paul Fournier) of Swansea, Melissa A. Trottier of Fall River and Leo H. Trottier (wife Patrica) of Berkley; grandchildren Joshua and Mila Jade Faria of Somerset; nephews Angus Mac Riley (partner Kaylin Tacovelli) and their daughter Kiara of Somerset, Shayne White (wife Cassandra) and their children Dante, Kameron and Nathan of Saugus, Wyatt, Ryder and Riley Trottier all of Berkley. Lance was predeceased by his niece Missy Jade White.

His calling hours will take place in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday, May 22nd from 4-7 P.M. Cremation to follow.
