Laura (Ferreira) Lopes, age 92 of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at the Mill Brook Nursing Care Center. Laura was beloved wife of the late Richard Lopes to whom she was married for almost 70 years.

Laura had worked for many years as a seamstress for the former Beacon Garments Mfg. Company. One of Laura's much-loved things to do was to go dancing with her beloved husband Richard. They were both incredible dancers and could be found dancing up a storm every weekend at one of many venues.

Laura was predeceased by her parents Manuel & Maria (Almeida) Ferreira; her daughter Deborah Braga; granddaughter Kelly Braga; and her siblings Arthur, Manuel, Frank, Joseph, & Antone Ferreira, Sarah Benevides, Mary Benevides, Deolinda Fernandes, and Irene Ferreira. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
