Lee A. Gruneberg Sr., age 90 of Tiverton, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Born March 3, 1934 in Ashtabula, Ohio, Lee was the beloved husband of 69 years to Dorothy (Pavao) Gruneberg and the son of the late Adam Leo Gruneberg and the late Edith (Mann) Gruneberg.

Lee was a US Navy veteran having served during the Korean War, and retired as a Systems Operator for the former Eastern Edison Electric Co., now National Grid. He was an avid car enthusiast, enjoyed flying radio-controlled air planes, and did a lot of wood working. Most of all, Lee loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Dorothy, Lee is survived by his twin sons: Lee A. Gruneberg Jr. (wife Anne) of Assonet and Raymond Gruneberg (wife Claire) of Warwick, RI; his sister: Lois Hicks of Montoursville, PA; grandchildren: the late Raymond Gruneberg, Kurt Gruneberg (wife Kendra), Bethany Melvin (husband Calvin), and Matthew Gruneberg (wife Elena); great grandchildren: Brady, Sebastian, Cory, Langston, Ellie, and Flora.

Lee's visitation will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 15th from 10 AM to 12 PM, with a services to follow at 12 noon in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
