FALL RIVER – Leonard Gracia, age 84 of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2023. Born on Dec. 11, 1938 in Fall River to the late Joseph S. Gracia and the late Mary (Lima) Gracia.

Prior to retiring, Lenny worked as a Carpenter at the Newport Naval Base. He was a very gentle soul, a "Voice of Reason" and very generous with donations to multiple charitable organizations.

He was passionate about caring for his garden, fancy chickens and his pup Ginger. He was a great cook and loved keeping up with family traditions. Lenny was quite a craftsman, always building something.

Those who know him know he was a minimalist. He loved snowmobiling with his family at "The New Hampshire House" that he and Pep built. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends, but we all know he will be watching over us with his brother in law Pep dropping dimes and quarters.

He is survived by his only Sister, Geraldine Pimental (late husband Mariano "Pep" Pimental); his niece, Melanie B. Hanson; his nephew, Shawn Pimental all of Fall River;  5 grand-nieces & nephews and 3 great nephews.

Lenny's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023 with visitation from 9-10 A.M. followed by a Service in the Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
