FALL RIVER – Leonora (Gomes) Kaminski, age 93, of Fall River, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Kaminski and the daughter of the late Armando & Antonia (Cabral) Gomes.

Prior to retiring, Leonora worked as a Floor Lady for the Textile Mills in Fall River, in addition to raising her 8 children. She was a communicant of St. Bernard Church, Assonet, and loved spending quality time with her children and especially with her grandchildren & great grandchildren whom she adored dearly.

Leonora is survived and lovingly remembered by her children: Louis J. Kaminski, Jr., and his wife Kathy, of Amesbury, MA, Linda Marley, and her husband Michael, of Assonet, MA, Bruce Kaminski, and his wife Barbara, of Chatham, MA, the late Mark S. Kaminski of Fall River, David A. Kaminski, and his wife Lisa, of Providence, RI, April M. Dawson, and her husband Howard, of Cape Coral, FL, Lisa Kaminski, and her husband David, of Fall River, MA and James Kaminski of Arizona; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Florinda Moniz, John L. Gomes, and Manuel Gomes.
