Obituary

ASSONET - It is with great sadness that we share the news of Lisa M. (Vickery) Meninno, age 60, who passed away with her loving family by her side on August 3, 2025 at Brigham & Woman's Hospital. Married to Scott Meninno. Born in Fall River she was the daughter of the late Edward Vickery and Nancy (McVey) Mcgee.

A beloved wife, mother, and matriarch who left this world too soon. Lisa was married to Scott for 34 cherished years, sharing a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they built a family that became the center of her world. She embraced her role as a mother with grace and compassion, becoming a mother figure to many beyond her own children. Her nurturing spirit and endless love created a safe haven for those fortunate enough to know her.

A true lover of nature, Lisa found joy in gardening and had a special affinity for feeding the birds that visited her backyard. She had a gentle heart, evident in her decision to rescue a baby mouse named Mighty, who now shares the warmth of her home. Every evening, she would lovingly ensure that Mighty was fed, reflecting her deep compassion for all living creatures.

Sundays were sacred in the Meninno household, reserved for family gatherings and football. Lisa was the life of the party, hosting football gatherings to cheer on her beloved New England Patriots. Her enthusiasm and spirit brought friends and family together, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

In quieter moments, Lisa found solace in reading on her Kindle, often sitting peacefully on the porch. Those moments of tranquility were a testament to her appreciation for the simple joys in life.

Lisa Meninno will be deeply missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and resilience will continue to inspire those left behind. As we mourn her passing, we celebrate the vibrant life she lived and the indelible mark she made on our hearts.

Along with her husband she survived by her son: Brandon Meninno of Assonet; nieces: Amy and Kathleen Vickery; nephews: James and Nicohlas Wetmore; sister Nancy Vickery of Assonet; brother- in- laws Mark and Keith Meninno; sister- in- law Deb Rider. She was predeceased by her daughter Misty L. Meninno.
