SOMERSET – Louise M. (Arruda) Fortin, age 100, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2021 at Somerset Ridge Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Albert Fortin. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter John and Louise (Camara) Arruda. Louise was a member of the Am Vets Post #72 in Somerset.

Louise is survived by her son Paul Oliveira (wife Heidi Phipps-Oliveira) of Somerset; granddaughters Melanie Oliveira and Melissa Phipps; 5 greatgrandchildren Madison, Alex, Lindsey, EJ (Eric Jr.) and Jameson.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass in Louise's memory at St. Dominic Church in Swansea on Wednesday, Jan. 12 ^th at 10 A.M.  Internment in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Swansea. Arrangements were under the direction of the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River.
