Louise (Brooks) Nasiff, 82 of Somerset, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 2nd, in the presence of her loving family.  Louise was the daughter of the late Ivy (Hathaway) and Louis Brooks of Fall River. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert "Bob" Nasiff of Somerset.  She was loved and cherished by many people including her brother Kenneth Brooks, of Fall River; her sons Kenneth Nasiff (wife Dana) of Raynham and David Nasiff (wife Monique) of Swansea; four grandkids, John and Brooke of Swansea, Kaitlyn and Sean of Raynham; as well as many other family and friends that will truly miss her.

Louise proudly graduated from BMC Durfee High School in 1959, and later from Southeastern Massachusetts University. Louise "Weeze" was a longtime elementary school teacher in the Somerset school system, teaching first grade at Chace St. School for a majority of her 37 teaching years. Her dedication to her "kids" was unquestioned and she fondly enjoyed reminiscing of those she recalled having in class.

She was a long time member of Church of Our Saviour in Somerset. Following retirement, she spent all her time with Bob or any of her beloved grandkids. It is with sadness we announce her passing, although we are comforted knowing that she and Bob are now reunited.

Following cremation, relatives and friends are invited to attend a morning visitation for Louise that will be held on Saturday, December 16th from 9-11am with a service at 11am in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. A burial ceremony to follow at Nathan Slade Cemetery in Somerset.
