SWANSEA - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lucille (Champagne) Andrade, age 85, on August 1, 2025 at Country Gardens Nursing Home in Swansea. She was the beloved wife of Raymond Andrade for over 62 years. Born in Bellingham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Irene (LaFlamme) Champagne.

After graduating from Warren High School, she worked for many years as a bookkeeper for Town and Country Bus Company and later at the service desk of Caldor Department Store before retiring.

She was known for her incredible talent in the kitchen, especially her holiday desserts, which were family favorites. A gifted crafter, she spent countless hours knitting, crocheting, and doing needlepoint. She also enjoyed tending to her garden and watching hummingbirds from her backyard deck.

Her time in Florida was filled with joy—playing golf with friends and making cherished memories. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family, especially during the holidays.

Along with her husband she is survived by her children Donna Webster (spouse Gary) of Cranston RI, and Gordon Andrade (spouse Eileen) of Douglas MA; brother Arthur Champagne and 4 nieces and nephews.
