FALL RIVER – Luis T. Drumonde, age 73, passed away on July 21, 2024 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Maria C. (Aguiar) Drumonde. Born in Terçeira, Açores, son of the late Manuel and Maria (Toste) Drumonde.

Prior to retirement, Luis spent over 20 years working for Quaker Fabrics. A passionate soccer fan, he particularly supported the Portuguese Sporting team. He loved visiting his homeland in Terçeira, making the trip as often as possible. He was a very hard worker and loved spending these vacations with family and friends.

Along with this wife, he is survived by his daughters Leslie Stern of Portsmouth, RI and Melissa Drumonde of Fall River, MA; grandchildren Haley Correia, Andrew and Adam Stern. He was predeceased by his brothers Manuel and Sergio Drumonde. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Luis will be held Friday morning from 8:30A.M.-10:30 A.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. A funeral mass will follow in St. Joseph's Church, at 11:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
