FALL RIVER – Luis A. Ferreira, age 65 of Fall River, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 26, 2022. Born in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel, Azores, Luis was the son of the late Jaime Lino Ferreira and the late Maria (Costa) Ferreira.

Luis was the loving father of Renee Ferreira of Fall River, beloved grandfather of Cederick & Cameren Ferreira, the brother of John Ferreira (wife Jennifer), Clara Pimentel (husband Paul), and the late James Ferreira, and the uncle to several nieces & nephews.

Luis was very good at math and could do figures in his head. He loved to go fishing and enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. In his earlier years, Luis played soccer for Fall River Sports, and was a lifelong, diehard fan of FC Porto, and also a fan of New England sports teams. He was an old soul, and loved listening to oldies music and dancing.

Luis was an incredible story teller and a man of many jokes. He made friends anywhere he went and loved to spend quality time with his family, especially with his 2 grandsons, whom he adored.
