Luis A. Medeiros, age 54 of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, Luis was the son of the late Cristiano R. Medeiros and the late Maria Natalia (Avelar Pascoal) Medeiros. He was also predeceased by his brothers Fernando Avelar and Emanuel de Medeiros.

In his earlier years, Luis enjoyed playing ping pong, floor hockey, and basketball. He also enjoyed his daily trips to Dunkin for his iced coffee and his boston crème donut. Luis also loved to spend time gathering with his family for holidays and special occasions.

Luis is survived by his siblings Gridoarda "Greda" Resendes, Floriano Raposo, Cristiano Medeiros, Cidalia "Cindy" Raposo, Carlos Medeiros, Maria L. Frias, Leonardo Medeiros, and Olga M. Pacheco; and many nieces & nephews.

All are welcome to attend a funeral mass for Luis on Wednesday, Sep. 2, 2026 at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will be Private. His private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River.
