Manuel Leite Campos has been called by the Angels and has passed on October 28, 2023 at age 86. Born May 29, 1937 in Lomba do Loução, Povoacão, São Miguel Açores, Mr. Campos was predeceased by his beloved wife Maria dos Anjos (Sardinha) Campos and his parents Agostinho Bento Campos and Maria Isabel (Leite) Campos. Survivors include his daughter Jovita Campos Borges (husband Jose Luis), his 2 sons Rui Campos (wife Georgina) & Emanuel Campos (wife Minah); his sister Maria Gilda DeSousa of Taunton; brother of the late Agostinho Campos (Açores); 4 grandchildren Kia Borges, Seth Borges, Liam Campos and Mika Campos, as well as nieces, nephews, and friends.

In 1961, Mr. Campos and his wife moved to the USA, where he worked his way up from a factory floor to owning Charlmor Furniture, Sonho do Lar, and an Ethan Allen Franchise. He was a respected member of the Portuguese community, involved in organizations like the Portuguese Business Association, the Luso–American Portuguese Consul, and the F.R. Rotary Club. Mr. Campos was honored as the PBA Man of the Year and was an active supporter of local churches and charities, leaving a lasting impact on his community.

Mr. Campos was an avid traveler, embarking on exciting adventures with his beloved wife. Yet, among the myriad of activities they shared, his heart truly blossomed in the presence of his family and friends. His face lit up with joy, especially when he was surrounded by his cherished grandchildren. In addition to his love for travel, Mr. Campos had a passion for music, often singing with gusto and expressing his creativity through poetry. He enjoyed entertaining at home, bringing friends and family together for lively and memorable gatherings.

Relatives & friends are invited to attend Mr. Campos's funeral mass at Santo Christo Church on Friday, November 3rd at 10:00 A.M. Entombment to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
