FALL RIVER – Manuel P. Estrella, age 92 of Fall River, passed away on Nov. 30, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fenais da Luz, Sao Miguel, Azores, Manuel was the husband of the late Venilde (Da Rosa) Estrella and the son of the late Joao & Maria (Pasqual) Estrella.

Prior to retiring, Manuel worked as a Mason for Anthony Nunes Home Construction. Most of all, Manny loved to spend time with his family and friends and listening to Benfica on his radio.

Manny is survived by his children: Gabriela Pimentel (John) of Westport, Joseph Estrella (Nancy) of Fall River, Albert Estrella (Stephanie) of Fall River, and Tiberio Estrella of Fall River; siblings: Louisa De Almeida, Rose C. Camara, Alice Silveira, Liberia Souza, the late Maria Fatima De Estrela, and the late Lydia Torres; grandchildren: Christine Borges, the late Michael John Pimentel, the late Kevin Estrella, Julia Estrella, Michaela Estrella, Dylan Estrella, and the late Michael Perrotti; great grandchildren: Emily Borges and Quinn Borges; many nieces & nephews.

Manny's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Tuesday, Dec. 6 ^th here at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Michael's Church at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
