FALL RIVER – Manuel Cabral Moniz, age 75, of Fall River peacefully passed away on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in São Miguel, Açores to the late Manuel R. Moniz and the late Mariana (Sousa) Moniz. Manny was the husband of Cecile (Bazinet) Moniz and the former husband of Agueda Correia.

Prior to retiring, Manny had worked for many years at DURO Textile Printer Co. of Fall River as a machine operator. He enjoyed gardening, and spending time with his many friends at the Dunkin Donuts on Milliken Blvd.

In addition to his wife Cecile, Manny is survived by his son Steven Moniz (wife Claudette) of Berkley; a step daughter Kristen Oliveira; and his granddaughter Caitlin Moniz (fiancé Mason Taylor). Manny was also the brother of the late Fernando C. Moniz.
