FALL RIVER – Manuel S. Peixoto, age 86 of Fall River, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 in the comforts of his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Mosteiros, São Miguel, Açores, Manuel was the beloved husband of 64 yrs. to Germaine (Almeida) Peixoto and the son  of the late Alfredo & Delia (Hermengildo) Peixoto.

Prior to retiring, Manuel worked for the Plymouth Rubber Co. of Canton, MA as a tape cutter and at the same time he also worked in housekeeping for the former Union Hospital, now Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was also a  parishioner of St. Michael's Church. In his free time, Manuel enjoyed working in his yard, watching soccer, and going for walks with his baby, Kayle. Most of all, Manuel loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife Germaine, Manuel was the father of the late Lucille Marie Peixoto, and Raymond Peixoto (wife Lori) of Fall River; grandfather of Raymond "Joey" Peixoto Jr. (wife Elisabeth) and Kyle Peixoto (girlfriend Jasmine Pereira); great grandfather of Mia Belle Peixoto, and Olivia Francis Peixoto; brother of Mary Alves, Sarah Peixoto, and the late Joseph S. Peixoto; uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours for Manuel will be held on Sunday, Sep. 8th from 4-6 P.M. in the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River. His funeral will take place on Monday, Sep. 9th at 9:00 A.M. from the funeral home followed by a funeral mass at St. Michael's Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River.
