FALL RIVER – Manuel Sousa, age 58 a resident of Fall River, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022 after a short illness. Born in Capelas, São Miguel, Azores, Manny was the son of the late Jose Sousa and the late Inez Maria (Miranda) Correia, previously Sousa.

He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church, and was a model car & hot wheels collector. He enjoyed trying his luck on scratch tickets, watching NASCAR, doing anything outdoors, and making pottery with his buddy, Jack. Most of all, Manny loved spending time with his family.

Manny is survived by his daughter; Alyssa Sousa of Fall River, siblings; Antone Sousa (wife Melissa) of Dartmouth, Fatima Sousa Gadoury (husband Jason) of Tiverton, and Linda Marie Sousa Correia of Dartmouth; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Manny was predeceased by his brother; Humberto Sousa.

Manny's funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on Friday, Oct. 21 ^st here at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
