SOMERSET – Marcia Maria (Farias) Rego, age 66 of Somerset, peacefully passed away on Friday, Jan. 13, 2023 in the comforts of her home with her loving family by her side. Born on Oct. 20, 1956 in Santo Antonio alem Capelas, São Miguel, Azores to the late Alfredo & Maria (de Arruda Perreira) Farias. Marcia was also the beloved wife of Valdemar M. Rego.

Marcia was a loving devoted wife of 45 years to her husband, Valdemar. She was truly an angel on Earth. The definition of Love. Marcia always had an infectious smile that would warm your heart even without saying a word.

Marcia's children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews were her entire world. She was happiest surrounded by all of them. As heart broken as we are to lose such a beautiful Mom, we find comfort in knowing she is with our Heavenly Father. Her soul will live within us forever.

In addition to her husband, Valdemar, Marcia is survived by her son & daughter: Val Rego and Michelle Rego (Garrett Peters); grandchildren: Makayla Medeiros (Helio Medeiros), Gavin Peters, Maddox Peters, Connor Rego, Joscelynn Rego, Victoria Rego, and Marshall Rego; great grandchildren: Adriana Medeiros, Mason Medeiros, and Olivia Medeiros; many nieces & nephews; her siblings: Manuel Farias, John Farias, Teresa Farias, Maria Da Silva, Fatima De Sousa, Guilhermina Costa, Donna Calzada, Mario Farias, and the late Alfredo Farias;
