Fall River – Margaret (Souza) Silvestre, age 104, passed away peacefully at Charlton Memorial Hospital on December 26 ^th .  Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Bento and Angelica (Cordeiro) Souza.  She was the loving wife of the late Peter Silvestre for 57 years.

A strong yet gentle soul, she enjoyed watching the hummingbirds in her backyard as much as a trip to Foxwoods.

Margaret is survived by her children; Peter Silvestre (and his wife Angela), and Margaret "Peg" Watson (and her husband Barry); her four grandchildren Peter Silvestre III, Melissa Silvestre, Sara Watson, and Katherine Silvestre; her great grandson Maxwell Frank; and many nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers Gabriel Souza and Carlos Souza, and her sisters Mary Souza, Geraldine Borges, and Helen Arruda.

She was a member of Saint Patrick's Parish in Somerset for many years.
